The Auxiliary Supports Veterans in December
The American Legion Auxiliary, mirroring its parent organization, stands on the same four core pillars: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth, which guide their mission to support veterans, military families, promote patriotism, and foster youth development through various community service programs, ensuring a lasting legacy of service.
In attending to Veterans pillar, the Auxiliary Unit 454 assisted two veterans / active-duty military this December:
One veteran, a single father with a young child, needed some assistance with paying a utility bill.
An active-duty soldier received gift packages filled with treats and more to share with her fellow soldiers.
If you know of a veteran or soldier who could use some assistance, please contact the American Legion or Auxiliary.
To our veterans and active-duty military: thank you for your service!
